Opening of Threadworks 2013

Judy e Martin spoke at the opening of Threadworks 2013 on April 28.  The exhibition continues until June 9 at the Wellington County Museum and Archives.

    1. I had not slept well before this talk. I had not been in the head space, and reached into my own journal from 2010 to read on the bus over to Toronto.
      There was half an hour to gather thoughts and I wrote something completely different. What I actually said was absolutely straight from the heart.

  6. Your speech touched so many of us ... I rarely show my tears but they were there on the inside ... and the connection you made between water and cloth, at our birth and our death, took us all a little deeper to that vital connection.
    I knew you were working on your last nerve and you did so, beautifully.
