ReplyDeleteWow! I just watched the podcast. I felt like you were telling a part of my story. I am 74 and have been married 52 years but with 7 children. It sounds like you were a great mother and still love being a part of your children's lives. I haven't had the success you have had but I am a quilter and have always longed to be an artist. I know I could do it but I feel safe and comfortable in my personal quilting zone. I enjoyed that you tell yourself that you have plenty of time still - to create new projects. That's what I need to tell myself. I loved listening to your honest and sincere answers to the questions. I, too, love solitude and thought it was heavenly to be involved in the pandemic lockdown because I didn't have to go anywhere and no one was coming here. Thanks for sharing a sweet part of yourself.
ReplyDeleteJudy~ Thanks for the you tube link, I'll check it out. I love the look of this hearts quilt, but the thought of there being velvet involved makes it even more delicious! Nancy
