3-D Expressions Opens in Grand Rapids Michigan September 23

Judy Martin's 3-year daily journal, Not To Know But To Go On (2013) is part of 3-D Expressions.

It was curated by Bruce Hoffman.  It is a SAQA Global touring Exhibition.The schedule for the 3 year tour is being formulated, and these are the galleries that will host the show so far.

Perivale Gallery opens for the Season

The Perivale Gallery opens on Sunday May 18.

The gallery will be open on weekends only during May and June.
During July and August it is open every day, 10 - 5 pm.
The gallery closes just after Labour day.

The small watercolours above are from her mother's estate.

New are stitched collages made with vintage materials and frames.
Four pieces from the Time, Dream, Memory series are presented in shadow boxes made by Omega Picture Framing, Mindemoya.

GRANDMOTHER TO GRANDMOTHER

This wonderful embroidery by a grandmother from Africa is the focal point of one of Judy's quilts that will be showing at
the Perivale Gallery this season.

A percentage of the sale of this quilt will be forwarded to Stephen Lewis's Grandmother to grandmother campaign.

The Perivale Gallery opens for the season on the long weekend in May (May 16) and closes shortly after Labour Day. Judith Martin will have eight artworks in the gallery this season - several graphite and thread drawings, a framed embroidery, two watercolours and the grandmother to grandmother quilt. Other artists at the gallery this year are Ivan Wheale, Linda Finn, Ralph Engleton, and many more.
