Judy Martin was invited by guild member, Irena Hopper, to speak to the York Heritage Quilters Guild at their October meeting in Toronto. Because of COVID, all meetings are online and Judy created a pre-recorded presentation with the assistance of Deb Larsen, a member of the guild. The lecture goes live tonight October 20 at 7 pm, and will be available for members of the guild and for guests.
Facebook link hereJudy's lecture is not the typical trunk show about her life's work and the story behind it, but rather an exploration of how her quilting and stitching practice helped her emotionally during the strangest spring and summer of our lives, the 2020 pandemic. She will show where she lives and explain how she works. There will also be a gallery of new work, not shown in public yet.
